Search - This function skips the intermediate
step of displaying a directory of names that match your search. Instead, the system
automatically selects all names that fit your criteria and then displays all of
the indexed data.
Show Names Directory - This function selects
all names matching your criteria and then allows you to narrow your search, as an
intermediate step, by hand-picking which names you'd like to use to continue your
search.
Note that both methods search the same data and use your criteria in the same manner.
Think of the "Search" function as using the directory function and then
selecting each name that is returned.
